Your tour starts at Hotel Granvia where you will meet your guide. Take a local train to Osaka Castle Park Station and stroll to Osaka Castle past the impressive moats and castle walls. Next enjoy the views of Osaka by Aqua-Liner along the Okawa River, passing under many bridges and seeing the numerous historical and famous landmarks.

Osaka Station to Hiroshima by JR Shinkansen (Nozomi). Visit Miyajima, famous for its Itsukushima Shrine. Its red torii gate appears to be standing in the sea during high tide. Walk through the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, dedicated to promoting peace around the world. Return to Osaka by JR Shinkansen (Nozomi).

 Okonomi-yaki is the typical dish of Osaka's Konamon(light meals made with flour) culture. The name of Okonomi-yaki means you grill the food with ingredients of your choice('okonomi') such as thin slices of pork, prawn,calamari and batter mixed with lots of shredded cabbages.You can choose how you eat it either as lunch or snack to go with a glass of beer.  Tako-yaki is also one of Konamon and is a bit size grilled flour batter blended with stock and pieces of octopus. It is originated from downtown Osaka and very popular among adults and children. In recent years, it has a lots of varieties with different fillings and flavours. |
