Sunrise Express Kyoto & Nara 3 Day Packages

See the Sights of NaraTravel by Shinkansen to Kyoto in the morning. After lunch experience the rich history and culture of Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple, the worlds largest wooden structure and home of the Great Buddha. Mingle with the deer at Nara Park and marvel at the many lanterns at Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Return to Kyoto for your first night. 

The next day is a full day of Kyoto sightseeing. See the Tokugawa era shoguns resident, Nijo Castle, admire the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, and stroll through the exquisite gardens surrounding it. Walk through Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch traditional artisans work their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Centre. After lunch visit Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kiyomizu Temple. Day 3 is free until your departure by Shinkansen to Tokyo.

Departure from Tokyo
Day 1: Tokyo – Kyoto – Nara – Kyoto Kyoto LUNCH
 9:00 Pick up service at major hotels. Tour departs from Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.
Morning transfer to Tokyo Station between. 
Board a Shinkansen bullet train for the classical city of Kyoto.
Enjoy a splendid view of imposing Mt.Fuji en route (weather permitting).
Western style lunch.



After lunch visit Nara and the Todaiji Temple with the Great Buddha. Feed the tame deer in Nara Park and marvel at the lanterns at Kasuga ShrineNara Nagomikan before returning to Kyoto.
Return to Kyoto. ——-Accommodation in Kyoto for 2 nights.
Day 2: Kyoto Kyoto LUNCH
 8:10-8:40 Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Japanese/Western Buffet.


After lunch enjoy afternoon sightseeing of the city, visiting vermilion-hued Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 impressive images of Buddha and Kiyomizudera Temple with its wooden veranda.
Day 3: Kyoto – Tokyo  
  Free at leisure until departure.


In the evening (between 6 and 7pm) board a Shinkansen bullet train back to Tokyo, arriving between 9 and 10pm. Transfer to major hotels in Tokyo.
