Cherry Blossom Tour Japan 2017 – Partly Escorted Tours




We have designed this tour for people who wish to discover parts of Japan that are rarely seen by foreign tourists as well as “must see” sights of Tokyo, Kyoto, and other cities. The end of March and the beginning of April are historically the best time to see the most cherry blossom around Japan. The tour includes Miyako Odori (cherry blossom dance) that you can see the traditional dance performance by geisha in Kyoto. To enhance your cultural experience, the tour visits Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Kinosaki and Hiroshima.

Day 1

New Zealand – Narita (NRT) – Tokyo
  Upon arrival at Narita airport, clear immigration and customs at Narita Airport. Meet and Greet staff will be waiting for you at the arrival exit. Shared shuttle bus to Hotel in Tokyo. Accommodation in Tokyo for 3 nights.

Day 2BL

  Full day Dynamic Tokyo sightseeing tour.
The tour visits four of Tokyo’s popular sightseeing spots: Tokyo Tower, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Sumida River Cruise, and Senso-ji Temple. Participants will also enjoy the cultural experience of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony on this popular Tokyo tour. Lunch Included.
** Due to over crowding, the Sumida River Cruise may be changed to cherry blossom viewing in Sumida Park.
After arrival at Tokyo station, you will be met by a JTB assistant to activate your JR pass then you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 3BL

Tokyo – Mt Fuji – Tokyo
  Full day Mt. Fuji and Hakone sightseeing tour.
This guided one-day tour takes you to majestic Mt. Fuji and Hakone. It includes a stop at the Fuji Visitor Center, a trip up to Mt. Fuji’s 5th station at an elevation of 2,300 meters, a cruise on pristine Lake Ashi, and a ride on the Komagatake Ropeway which boasts great views of the surrounding Hakone National Park.
Ride the Shinkansen back to Tokyo. Lunch included.

Day 4B

Tokyo – Kyoto
  Send your luggage onto Kyoto in the morning.
You will receive this luggage on Day 5. Travel with an overnight bag.
Depart your hotel to train station. Board the Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Accommodation in Kyoto for 3 nights

Day 5BL

  Full day Kyoto & Nara sightseeing tour
The tour includes Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, Kyoto Imperial Palace (For 29 Mar departure, Kitano-tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead of Kyoto Imperial Palace). Todaiji Temple(Great Buddha), Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Nagomikan. Lunch included.

Day 6B

  Visit Cherry Blossom Dance (Miyako Odori) by local train. After Cherry Blossom Dance, free at leisure. English speaking assistant will take you to the venue today. Free time after the show.

Day 7BD

Kyoto – Kinosaki Hot Springs
  Send your luggage on to Hiroshima. You will receive the luggage on Day 8. Travel with an overnight bag to Kinosaki.
Depart for Kinosaki Onsen by express train. Kinosaki is one of the top Hot springs
destinations of Japan. The town has developed into an old fashioned town. You will stay in a Japanese style accommodation there. Free at leisure after arrival in Kinosaki. Dinner included.

Day 8B

Kinosaki Hot Springs – Hiroshima
  Depart for Hiroshima by express train. Free at leisure after arrival in Hiroshima.
Accommodation in Hiroshima for 2 nights.
008 - Cherry blossoms Hamami Flower Viewing, Hiroshima

Day 9B

  Send your luggage onto Tokyo. You will receive the luggage on Day 11. Travel with an overnight bag for two nights.
Full day sightseeing tour of Hiroshima & Miyajima, board a train to Miyajimaguchi and visit Miyajima Island / Itsukushima Shrine. Lunch on your own. Return to Hiroshima and visit the Peace Memorial Park/Atomic Bomb Dome.

Hiroshima – Tokyo
  Depart for Tokyo by Shinkansen bullet train.
Free at leisure after arrival in Tokyo.
