Day 1: Seoul
Arrive in Seoul and be transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.
Day 2: Seoul (B, D)
Let’s see what this amazing city has to offer. Today we have an orientation tour visiting Gyeongbok Palace and seeing the changing of the guard ceremony,
the National Folk Museum, Insadong Antique Alley, Namdaemun Market and the Myeongdong
entertainment area. Tonight we will have a welcome dinner of delicious Korean Barbecue.
Day 3: Seoul – DMZ (B)
This morning we will visit the intriguing DMZ and The 3rd North Korea Tunnel with a fascinating
opportunity to go down into the tunnel and visit Dorasan Railway Station. After lunch visit N Seoul Tower to enjoy a birds-eye view of Seoul and in the evening enjoy nonverbal performance ‘Nanta’, a comedic theatrical show.
Day 4: Seoul – Jinan – Jeonju (B,D)
Today we leave Seoul behind to explore regional Korea.
First stop is Jinan to visit Tapsa Temple at Mt. Mai Provincial Park. In the afternoon we will visit Jeonju
and tour the traditional Korean Hanok Village and Jeondong Cathedral. Dinner will be at a local restaurant specialising in the iconic regional dish Bibimbap.
Day 5: Jeongju – Mt.Gaya – Gyoengju (B)
In the morning we will travel by coach to Mt Gaya National Park and visit the historic Haeinsa Temple
(a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Continue on to Gyeongju and spend the evening at your leisure.
Day 6: Gyeongju (B)
Today we will explore the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom, Gyeongju. The full day sightseeing tour
will visit Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, National Museum, Tumuli Park (open air museum
containing ancient burial mounds), Anapji Pond and Cheomseongdae Observatory.
Day 7: Gyeongju – Busan (B,L)
Leaving ancient kingdoms behind today we will travel to Korea’s second largest city Busan. We will
visit Nurimaru APEC house of Dongbaek Island and Haeundae Beach. Lunch will be at a local restaurant which serves the Busan speciality Dongnae Pajeon (Korean Pancake).
Day 8: Busan (B,D)
This morning we will tour more highlights of Busan including Busan Tower, BIFF Square and
Jagalchi Fish Market. The afternoon is free to explore Busan at your leisure. Farewell dinner will be at a local buffet restaurant.
Day 9: Busan (B)
Your tour finishes today after breakfast. Your tour guide will assist you in making your way from the hotel to Busan train station to take the KTX train back to Incheon Airport.
