   Explore the vibrant city of Tokyo, from the historical area of Asakusa to the Imperial Palace Plaza and Ginza.
Travel half way up Mt. Fuji, Japan's most famous landmark, and relax in the mountain resort area of Hakone.
See Takayama, known as "Little Kyoto," and its preserved historical structures and environment.
Mingle with the locals at the thatched roofed village of Shirakawago.
Visit Kanagawa, home of Kenroku Garden, one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan, and admire the ceramics at Kutaniyaki.

Itinerary

*Departure from Tokyo
Day1 : Tokyo Tokyo
  Upon arrival at Narita Airport, JTB staff will meet you at the custom’s exit and assist you in boarding a reserved taxi to transfer to your accommodation.
  Accommodation in Tokyo for 3 nights.
Day 2: Tokyo Tokyo
AM Tokyo Morning city tour, visiting Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arcade. This tour will disband at either Akihabara or Tokyo Station. (The tour guide will give you directions on how to return to your hotel. Transportation costs are not included.) Afternoon free.
Day 3: Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo Tokyo LUNCH
AM Full day excursion to Nikko by coach and train.
Visiting Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Japanese-style lunch. Irohazaka (Zig Zag Mountain road), Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Waterfall.
Tour disbands on arrival at Shinjuku or Ginza between 7 and 8pm. (The tour guide will give you directions on how to return to your hotel. Transportation costs are not included.)
Day 4: Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone Hakone LUNCH
AM Travel by deluxe coach halfway up Japan's highest mountain, Mt Fuji, to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani Valley and then a ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi.
Arrive in Hakone-machi between 5-6 p.m.
Evening Overnight at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en.
Day 5: Hakone - Takayama Takayama
  Travel from your Hotel to Odawara Station by bus and board the Bullet train (Kodama) to Nagoya. Take a train (limited-express Hida) to Takayama.
In the afternoon take a walking tour of Takayama. Visit Yatai Kaikan Hall, Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum, Kami Sannomachi street.
Evening Overnight in Takayama
Day 6: Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa Kanazawa
  Visit the Morning Market of Takayama before your tour to Shirakawago By coach, visiting Lake Miboro (drive past ) Former Toyama Family Residence, Shirakawago/Gassho-zukuri, Experience Japanese paper making in Gokayama. Arrive in Kanazawa between 5:30 and 6:30.
Overnight in Kanazawa
Day 7: Kanazawa - Kyoto Kyoto
  This morning visit Kenrokuen Garden, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln, Higashi-chaya Street and Old Samurai residence "Nomura Family Residence". From Kanazawa Station board a train (limited-express Thunderbird) to Kyoto.
Arrive at Kyoto Station between 4:30 and 5:30 and transfer to
you hotel.
One Way Trip Course (JT9BO)
Day 8: Kyoto		 Kyoto LUNCH
  Today enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Kyoto, including Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, Kyoto Imperial Palace. Buffet-style lunch. Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo, Kiyomizu Temple.
This tour finishes with a drop off at your hotel between
5:30 and 6:30pm.
Day 9: Kyoto - Kansai Airport  
  Free until departure.
  JTB staff will meet you at the hotel and assist you in boarding a mini van to Kansai Airport. You will be advised of today’s departure time.
Round Trip Course (JT9BR)
Day 8: Kyoto - Tokyo		 Tokyo
  Today enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Kyoto, including Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, Kyoto Imperial Palace. Buffet-style lunch. Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo, Kiyomizu Temple.
This tour finishes with a transfer to Kyoto Station.
5:50p.m Board a the bullet train for Tokyo. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Tokyo.
Day 9: Tokyo - Narita Airport  
  Free until departure.
  You will be advised of todays’ departure time. A Taxi driver will meet you at the hotel for your transfer to Narita Airport.

English-speaking guide or assistant service is included from the airport on Day 1 to the hotel in Kyoto/Tokyo on Day 9. (except during onboard transfer from/to the airport and onboard on Shinkansen.))

Your baggage will be transported by land from Hakone to Kyoto with allowance of one piece per person on Day 5. For the overnight stay in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece.
Round Trip Course
Your baggage will be transported by land from Hakone to Kyoto with allowance of one piece per person on Day 5 and Kyoto to Tokyo on Day 8 with allowance of one piece per person. For the overnight stay in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece.
