Takayama Holiday 4 day Package
Mt. Fuji Hakone, Takayama, Kanazawa

   Visit Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest peak and the country's most famous landmark. Spend the evening in the historical mountain resort area of Hakone before travelling to Takayama, known as "Little Kyoto", and its preserved historical structures and environment. Mingle with the locals at the thatched roofed village of Shirakawago, a World Heritage site. Experience the making of washi, Japanese paper, at Gokayama, and then visit Kanagawa, home of Kenroku Garden, one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. Admire the ceramics at Kutaniyaki.

Itinerary

*Departure from Tokyo
Day1 : Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone Hakone LUNCH
  Travel by deluxe coach halfway up Japan's highest mountain, Mt Fuji, to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani Valley and then a ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi.
  Overnight at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en
Day2 : Hakone - Takayama Takayama
  Hotel to Odawara Station by coach.
Depart Odawara by Shinkansen to Nagoya and change to the Hida Limited Express train for Takayama.
PM Upon arrival visit the Yatai Kaikan Hall with its impressive exhibition of festival floats, which are paraded through the streets of Takayama on festival days in April and October.
Next stop is the Kasukabe Folk Craft Museum and Kami Sannomachi Street where you can step back in time.
Overnight in Takayama
Day 3: Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa Kanazawa
08:30 Explore the exciting morning markets along the river before taking a coach to Shirakawago via Lake Miboro. Shirakawago is famous for its steep thatched roofed houses where people still live today as they have for centuries. Experience the art of Japanese paper making at Gokayama.
18:00 Overnight in Kanazawa.

Day 4: Kanazawa - Kyoto
 
09:00 In the morning visit the stunning Kenrokuen Gardens, one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. Watch artisans at work at the Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln before you soak up the atmosphere at Higashi-chaya-machi. A district established in the 16th century as one of the great nightspots of Kanazawa.
  The tour winds up by taking a Limited Express train to to Kyoto.
Late PM Drop-off service to Hotel in Kyoto. (Nominated Hotel only)

Day 4: Kanazawa - Tokyo

One Way Trip Course
Your baggage will be transported by land from Hakone to Kyoto with allowance of one piece per person on Day 2. For the overnight stay in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece.
Round Trip Course
Baggage carriage is not included. Please make your own arrangements to have your baggage transported. or Please carry your baggage on your own. However, trains do not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large pieces of baggage at your hotel in Tokyo while you travel by train.
