We have designed this tour for people who wish to discover parts of Japan that are rarely seen by foreign tourists as well as “must see” sights of Tokyo, Kyoto, and other cities. The end of March and the beginning of April are historically the best time to see the most cherry blossom around Japan. The tour includes Miyako Odori (cherry blossom dance) that you can see the traditional dance performance by geisha in Kyoto. To enhance your cultural experience, the tour visits Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Kinosaki and Hiroshima.

ITINERARY
Day 1
Narita/Haneda Airport – Tokyo
Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda airport, clear customs and immigration. At customs exit, meet staff who will provide assistance in boarding a reserved shared shuttle to the hotel in Tokyo.

Day 2BLD
Tokyo
Full day sightseeing tour of Tokyo visiting Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza & Nijubashi Bridge, Sumida River cruise and Sensoji temple. Participants will also enjoy the cultural experience of traditional Japanese tea ceremony on this tour. **due to overcrowding, the Sumida River Cruise may be changed to cherry blossom viewing in Sumida Park. After the tour, free time until 19:30. Enjoy Izakaya welcome dinner with your tour escort and group tonight.

Day 3BL–
Tokyo
Coach to the foot of Mt.Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan’s highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. You will enjoy a short Lake Ashi cruise and a ride on the Komagatake Ropeway in the afternoon. You will be taken back to Tokyo by public transportation.

Day 4B–D
Kyoto
Take a bullet train to Kyoto in the morning. Afternoon free time until 19:00. Enjoy delicious hot pot and Sake to warm up Spring’s chilly nights.

Day 5BL–
Kyoto
Morning aishgtseeing tour of Kyoto visiting Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto Imperial Palace (If Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed, Kitano-tenmangu Shrine instead). After Lunch, afternoon tour to Nara, visiting Todaiji Temple (Which houses the Great Buddha), Kasuga Taisha Shrine (with 3,000 lanterns) and Nara Park (Known as Deer Park). Return to Kyoto in the evening.
Day 6B––
Kyoto
Enjoy a couple of free hours this morning. Today we will see the highlight of the tour “Miyako Odori (Cherry Blossom Dance)”. The show started in 1872 as part of the Kyoto Exposition to boost morale after the capital was moved to Tokyo. Sit back, relax and enjoy the 45-minute show. Free time after the show.
Day 7B–D
Hiroshima
Free time until 14:00. Travel to Hiroshima by bullet train. After check-in, free time until 19:00. Okonomiyaki (Savoury Cabbage Pancake) dinner. There are two main style of Okonomiyaki: Osaka style and Hiroshima style. You will experience Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki for tonight!

Day 8B––
Hiroshima
Send your luggage onto Tokyo this morning. You will receive the luggage on day 10 in Tokyo. Please prepare an overnight bag for tomorrow. Full day sightseeing tour of Hiroshima city and short ferry ride to Miyajima island to see the picturesquer Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial Park, Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome. No lunch included in the tour today. Enjoy lunch at your own expense during free time at Miyajima island. free time after the tour.

Day 9BLD
Kinosaki Onsen (Hot Springs)
Depart for Kinosaki Onsen by train. Bento Box will be given before boarding the train.You can eat this on the train to Kinosaki Onsen. Kinosaki Onsen is one of the top hot springs destination in Japan. The town has developed into an old fashioned town. You will stay in a Japanese style accommodation tonight. Free time after arrival in Kinosaki. Japanese style dinner will be served in your own room.

Day 10B–D
Kinosaki Onsen – Tokyo
Feel the fresh spring breeze in the morning. Travel by train back to Tokyo late in the morning today. Farewell Dinner on Yakatabune cruise on Tokyo bay tonight. Exceptional views from the colourful cruiser, along with fantastic 360 degree views of the lights and sights of Tokyo from the open air sky decks.

Day 11B––
Tokyo
Full day free in Tokyo. Enjoy last-minute shopping.
Day 12B––
Tokyo
Tour finishes today. Depart Tokyo for Narita airport by public transportation.
