Upon arrival at Narita Airport, JTB staff will meet you at the customs exit and assist you in boarding a reserved taxi to transfer to your accommodation.

tour will depart from Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo for Tokyo sightseeing via tour bus.
National Diet Building (Drive-by)
This is the center of the Japanese Government. Don’t let the impressive Western-style architecture fool you–this building is constructed almost entirely out of pure Japanese materials
Imperial Palace (Drive-by)
Formerly known as Edo Castle, this palace is the residence of the Emperor of Japan.
Tsukiji Outer Market (50 min)
Japans no.1 place for seafood with over 400 shops including fresh fish retailers, grocers, and restaurants. Enjoy shopping and try some local food while exploring this one-of-a-kind location.
Kabukiza Theater (Drive-by)
A classic Japanese-style theater where traditional Kabuki performances are held.
Tokyo Skytree Town® (70 min)
Enjoy freely exploring Tokyo Skytree®, Tokyo Solamachi® which features many traditional Tokyo shops, an aquarium, planetarium, and more.

Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street (45 min) Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as “Nakamise” stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops.
Tour ends in Asakusa after enjoying a stroll around.

Tokyo – Mt.Fuji – Hakone

Pick-up service from hotels in Tokyo to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.

Depart from Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (150 min)
Depart Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal and head to Mt. Fuji by bus.
(Chuo Expressway or Tomei Expressway)
Mt. Fuji 5th Station (30 min)
Start the ascent up Mt. Fuji via the Fuji Subaru Line. Climb 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level for breathtaking views from above the clouds.
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch.
Lake Ashi Cruise (15 min)
Go for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi, 30km southeast of Mt. Fuji. The crater lake was born from a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji from various angles.
Mt. Komagatake Ropeway (50 min)
Spend a total of 50 minutes including a 7-minute ropeway ride up to the peak from Hakone-en. Discover the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop.

Go to Odawara Station by taxi or bus.
From Odawara Station to Nagoya Station (140 min)
Head to Nagoya via the Kodama Shinkansen.
From Nagoya Station to Takayama Station (150 min)
The guide will meet participants at Nagoya Station. Board the JR Limited Express train to Takayama.

Yatai Kaikan Hall (30 min)
Here floats used in the famous Takayama Festival are on display.
Takayama Festival is famous throughout Japan. Here visitors can see the floats on display and the detailed craftsmanship that goes into making them.

Kusakabe Folk craft Museum (20 min)
Enjoy a visit to this historical Japanese-style townhouse and view a range of exquisite folk art and traditional handicrafts.

Kami-Sannomachi (30 min)
Located in Takayama’s old quarter, this street is lined with Edo period buildings, and provides visitors a glimpse into the past.

Takayama – Shirakawa-go – Kanazawa

Takayama Morning Market (40 min)
Enjoy walking around the bustling Takayama Morning Market, where a wide array of local specialties and other products are available.
Shirakawago Observatory (15 min)
Enjoy an elevated view of the World Heritage-registered thatch-roofed village of Shirakawago. Great for photography!
Wada Residence (traditional thatch-roofed farmhouse)(75 min)
This is one of the thatch-roofed houses, also registered as a World Heritage Site. Look around and be fascinated by the culture and history of the village.
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch.
Shirakawago to Kanazawa (Drive-by sightseeing of Miboro Dam) On the way from Shirakawago to Kanazawa, enjoy seeing rural Japanese scenery such as the manmade Miboro Dam and the Hakusan Mountains. Enjoy sightseeing from the vehicle windows.

Kanazawa – Kyoto

Nagamachi Samurai District, Former Samurai Residence (40 min)
Visit a former residence of a samurai family from the Kaga Domain. Admire the traditional architecture and gaze at the beautiful Japanese garden.
Kenrokuen Garden (60 min)
This beautiful garden is considered one of the top three Japanese gardens. It offers amazing seasonal views all year round.
Higashi Chaya District (40 min) Wooden-latticed exteriors of teahouses line both sides of the stone-paved street here where something from the Edo period (1603-1868) still lingers in the air. This area is an Important Traditional Building Preservation District.
Hakuza (gold leaf shop) (30 min) Feel free to purchase handicrafts, accessories, cosmetics and other items made with gold leaf.

Kanazawa Station Eat lunch on your own after arrival at Kanazawa Station.
Kanazawa Station to Kyoto Station (145 min)
Take the JR limited express train to Kyoto.

Arrive at Hotel in Kyoto City
Participants will be taken by taxi from Kyoto Station to their hotels. An English-speaking assistant will guide participants to the taxi, but will not ride along in the taxi.

Nijo Castle (50 min)
A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 min)
Visit this World Heritage Site, also known as the Golden Pavilion. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.
Kyoto Imperial Palace (visiting except on Mondays) (40 min)
Entry of international visitors generally require application in advance, but participants of this tour can enter only by going through a brief procedure.
Kitano Tenmangu Shrine (visiting on Mondays) (40 min)
Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is the substitute for Kyoto Imperial Palace on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. This shrine’s main hall is a designated national treasure and is famous for housing the God of scholarship. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.
Lunch (Japanese/Western style buffet lunch) (50 min)
Heian Jingu Shrine (25 min)
Don’t miss the characteristic red architecture of this beautiful shrine built to celebrate the 1100 year anniversary of the founding of the city of Kyoto.
Sanjusangendo Hall (30 min)
Visit the world’s longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple (70 min)
The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is superb. The historic shopping lane that leads to the temple adds to a wonderful experience.
